The big art show is tonight. We get kicked out of work early so they can set up. I get to wear my art shoes. There will also be free beer. Nice!
This weekend is Adam's Birthday. I was thinking of having people get together but it is fair to invite a bunch of people over to someone else's house? I guess I should let him know as well, eh? We shall see.
I have not been very good at setting this up because Fred is having a party tomorrow as well. I have feeling he's put a lot of effort into his event. If we don't go he will be crushed.
I should buy new shoes for the birthday party. Oh! And new shoes for Fred's party as well! Why not? Maybe I will get these. No wait, I like these better. So what if they won't arrive until next week.
Hell....maybe new shoes to celebrate gay marriage! Sounds fitting. |

Mary Lynn was in this morning's dream. We were going to this building for some reason. The mood was grim. As we got closer to the entrance I wrapped my arm around her. She stopped and looked at me and said "I need you to do something for me."
I hesitated then replied "Do you want me to kiss you?"
"GOD NO! How stupid are you?"
She pushed me away and ran into the building. |

I forgot to tell you my camera is fixed. It was still under warranty so they fixed it at no cost. They even replaced the LCD screen that had dark spots on it.
The repair took less than a week. Yeah, I mailed it on a Friday. But they got it Monday, examined it and had it back to me by the following Friday.
I'm very pleased. |

I arrived at my cottage at about 6pm last Thursday. I got out of the van and slammed the door. The dog began to bark as she always has.
Funny thing is, that dog has been dead for over 10 years. |

I've been having many intense dreams as of late. I think this is because I have been taking allergy medicine just before bed. The problem is I can't recall them like I usually do because I wake up different. It's hard to explain. I know I have dreams but they fade quickly.
Jeremy confirmed I had one of my paralysis dreams last week. He said it sounded like Space Ghost when he screams like a girl. That I do recall. I haven't had one of those in some time.
This morning I had a dream about time travel. I went back tot he early 70's and I was in Windsor Ontario for some reason. All I really did was go outside and notice the billboards had different advertisements all over them but the city itself was pretty much the same.
There was also a sequence where I was at some in home school for young children and I thought I was drinking flavored water but it turned out to be some strange wine. I got drunk in my dream. That was disconcerting. |

I just dropped my camera. I didn't notice until 2 minuets later that the lens was pushed into a new and unusual angle. The camera started beeping and error messages sprang up.
Panic!
I got the lens to pop back into place but now every picture I take is from five minutes in the future. That's how I knew I was going to make this post. |

It's a well know fact at work that I am the worst at letting typos escape onto the web. Recently I have been getting more grief than usual about this flaw. Today, after work, I turned on the TV and saw the above. I no longer feel alone. |

I have a bad feeling.
I've left the dogs out to roam the house. I think I left the bedroom door open....but I'm not certain. That's not really horrible. Thing is, I left a purple Prismacolor marker on top of a pile of clothing in a basket on the floor. On it's own, it would be fine. But Rosie seems to enjoy chewing on markers. The more permanent the ink more joy she receives. She got her paws on a red Sharpie some time ago. There is a faint stain of pink on the rug where she dissected it.
She ate a paper towel the other day. I was not aware of this until this morning when I took her out for morning relief. I'm curious what might come out after a run in with a purple marker. |

Today I feel like I've run a marathon. Funny since the most physical thing I did this weekend was lift a bottle of beer to my mouth. My sinus issues have returned full force. I've got intense pressure in my head and boy am I in a crappy mood.
Monday I'll go into the doctor after all. I was thinking things were clearing up. I guess not.
Now I am going shopping. Yes....shopping. Being a consumer solves everything. |

Some of you know Tim and Andy. They are going to be on TV!
Sell This House!® on A&E
“131 - Palm Springs, CA”
Upcoming Airings: Saturday, April 19 @ 10:30am/9:30C
Tim and Andy were using their four bedroom downtown Palm Springs home as a bed a breakfast for the past few years. But once they decided to sell, they converted it back into a house. What wasn't converted was the kitschy early 60's theme they had going on... which included unfortunate colors, lots of antiques, and lots of clutter! Fortunately for Roger Hazard, Tim and Andy are willing participants in his staging process, though Andy does have a lot of trouble letting go of some of his prized possessions. Even his kitchen utensils have sentimental meaning to him! Host Tanya Memme and Design Assistant Chad have a plan: keep Andy distracted in the kitchen while they pack up his stuff! |

Portland - Day 4
I was just wandering around the Pearl District for First Thursday. In one section of the down a number of local artists had work on display street fair style.
I was checking out the glass work of Morgan Madison. The work on display was primarily fused glass. Great attention to detail. Crisp look to the work. You can check out his website at www.morganvanmadison.com but I think stuff like this is always better first hand. |
