Wow, it's been a long time since I had work in a show. It was fun to hang out and see everyone.
The show featured the work of a few friends and people I had gone to school with. It was a pretty nice collection of craftspeople and metal smiths, motorcycles to jewelry.
James, one of the curators of the show, asked me if there was any work I could submit. I told him I had not made any sculpture in a while but showed him the illustrations I had made. He took them into consideration.
As it turns out there was no work for the walls. Originally I was just going to submit four images but figured why not drop of a few more and they could pick out what they liked. They picked them all. I was told they helped bring the show together a bit. That was nice to hear.
I handed out small buttons I had mad for fun. I ate cheese, socialized with friends and took bad pictures. Take a look if you wish. |
